New site manager for the Onyx Power plants in Farge and Wilhelmshaven
Bremen / Wilhelmshaven, 02.02.2021 – The Onyx Power power plants in Farge and Wilhelmshaven are under new management since February 01, 2021. Jörn Neumann, a trained engineer, succeeds the previous site manager Frank Fischer.
Neumann can look back on a successful career in the energy sector. Since 1990, the graduate engineer specializing in mechanical engineering / energy technology has held various management positions at E.ON AG and most recently at STEAG GmbH. For the latter he managed the Trianel-Lünen and Bergkamen-Heil power plants.
Jörn Neumann is looking forward to his new role at the Onyx Power sites in Farge and Wilhelmshaven: “The German energy industry is undergoing a fundamental change. New technologies and solutions will be required to accomplish the transformation towards CO2-neutral energy production. I’m looking forward to helping shape the energy transition in Germany together with the dedicated teams at the Farge and Wilhelmshaven sites.”
The Farge and Wilhelmshaven power plants have been operated by the Onyx Power Group since 2019. With an intelligent energy mix of conventional and alternative power generation, the company intends to continue actively shaping the transformation of the energy industry in Germany from its two northern locations.
