ResInvest Group completes acquisition of Onyx Power

Prague/Berlin, 2 February 2026 – ResInvest Group, a privately owned trading and investment company, announced the completion of its acquisition of Onyx Power. The acquisition was completed after obtaining regulatory approvals and fulfilling other customary closing conditions.
Onyx Power is a European energy company and expert in thermal power generation. With around 2,000 megawatts of installed generation capacity at four power plant sites and around 400 employees, the company makes an important contribution to the secure supply of electricity and heat in Germany and the Netherlands.

Most recently, ResInvest Group acquired the German power plant Datteln 4 from the European energy company Uniper, following a successful acquisition of 2 coal- and biomass-fired power plants in Poland. With this and other acquisitions, the company has further strengthened and expanded its presence in the European energy market.
